Spent the weekend and had a wonderfully relaxing time. Will certainly go back. The campground is well maintained and quiet and the views of the lake are largely unobstructed. The sites are generously sized. We were originally booked at site 15 but upon arrival discovered the terrain was excessively sloped toward the lake and we would never have been able to level the camper. The camp hosts came by as we were trying to figure it out and offered us to move to a choice of 3 other sites. We moved to site 34 and were very pleased. The only other odd part of the park is that power and water hookups for many sites are oddly located on the camp side of the camper and far away from the usual rear left corner of the camper. Our water hose reached the faucet but only because our water hookup is at the front corner of the camper. Our power cord would not reach at all, but the campground keeps 30 amp extension cords as loaners at no charge, which worked great. Had we needed more hose we would have needed to buy one from the camp store. If you don’t know the campground it might be good to book your first visit over the phone to make sure you’re placed in a site that meets your needs. That said, DO visit this campground. It’s lovely.
