A long stretch of smooth rock makes this a great place to experience the Lake. Summer weather can be cool so it is a great option on a hot day. Wave watching is perfect as prevailing winds often create incoming swells.

Access the smooth rocks from the north end of Stoney Point Drive. In both directions along the shore there are stretches of cobblestone that are difficult to walk along so use the numerous access trails along the road to get to secluded spots on the shore.
