Beautiful campground, but get to bed early! The logging trucks start their day at 3:30am and rip through the main road like a bat out of hell until about 9am. I have PTSD every time I hear engine brakes now.

Also, at the time of writing, the camp host was the worst camp host I’ve ever met. Don’t expect to get change, firewood, or even a tip on a good hiking spot nearby. His only response to every question was “I don’t know” or “I only clean up”. I had to ask him if he was even the camp host because he was so standoffish and appalled that I approached him.

Lastly, this campground is very expensive! $64/night! I’m not sure when it became more expensive to sleep outside than it is to rent a motel.
