Laurel Lake is one of the cleanest and most beautiful lakes in Kentucky. The water clarity is over 10'.

The 11-mile cross country mountain bike and hiking trail that follows Holly Bay is excellent. It is sandy throughout and can be pedaled even after heavy rain.

I rode the trail in January 2023 and enjoyed the breathtaking views in solitude. In the warmer months the clear water is great for swimming and snorkeling.
