The location was great , we primarily picked it for the clear view of the sky to watch stars. Sites 11 and 12 are on the end, so you have a full, unobstructed view of the sky . Due to its location it is a bit windy. The sites themselves could use a little love , the picnic tables are weathered and beaten up and the fire pits are not maintained , ours was full of trash and ash. The bathrooms were clean and fresh . The laundromat was closed for drought conditions, and the office was closed for remodeling. I would definitely stay there again.

Pretty cool place BUT not really a ghost town , more of a nothing town, there were no remains of civilization ever being there other then the graveyard which looks like it has been rebuilt and restored. The scenery is to die for and the road out there was dirt but pretty good . If you do go out there be careful to not be out there during a flash flood , you will get stuck , even with a 4x4 you may find yourself in a bit of a bind . Also to get to the cemetery you need to cross dried wash basins and the inclines can be pretty severe.
