This campground is perfect for the quick getaway from Vegas. I had cell signal which was a plus on this trip because I was still needing to finish a few calls before shutting off for the weekend. The restrooms are very clean. The sites are well designed with firepits and tent pads. I was the only tent camper I saw. The rest were RVs. There is an easy trail that goes down to the picnic areas and farther down the road. There is also a more difficult trail that heads up the mountains. The one negative is it is close to the road but the cars just turn into white noise to me.
