Campsite: Eagle Campground

Great campground not far from Eagle. Fort Egbert is nearby, and that is an awesome thing to go see. There are TONS of historical things all around, so bring some good walking shoes and do some exploring! Definitely bring your camera.

The campground doesn't usually fill up, but if you're traveling over holiday weekends or something, get there early and have a backup plan.

There are spots for RVs, but they are not pull-through spots (tho backing in isn't terrible because the angle is pretty straight. There is sometimes firewood available, but as with everything I recommend you bring it in (even extra fuel, since gas/diesel is not always available and it is WILDLY expensive).

You pay for the campground in envelopes at the entrance. Just look for the sign.

Campsite: Clover Spring Campground

Great small campground. They have a pull-thru RV slot, a big group spot, a tent spot, and a couple of dual-purpose spots. There are also equestrian spots if that's your jam.

The campground was very clean. The outhouse was reasonably clean as well. There aren't a lot of campgrounds here so if you are planning on coming over a busy weekend, better to have a plan B in case this campground is full.

It's $12 a night for regular spots, $45 for groups.
