This was my little family's first family vacation. We have a 5 year old so we didn't want to do anything too overwhelming, but we still wanted him to have fun. This was the perfect trip. We live in NE OK so beaver lake was an easy drive. The lake is so beautiful, the camp site was very clean, the bathrooms were also very clean, and the showers had good water pressure with hot water.

The campsite had water and electricity which is great. Since we camped in a tent, I will say the only drawback was that the campsite was super rocky and on a hill, so being inside the tent was a bit awkward and hard to be barefoot inside the tent.

Also, there really isn't any decent shopping near by so make sure to get all the things you will need as far away from beaver lake as possible, because everything is horribly overpriced near the area. Also, we bought firewood locally but it was expensive and wet.
