The park itself is beautiful. However the maps are poorly made and very confusing. It took us forever to find our picnic spot (Shelter 16) since hardly anything on the map is labeled. The bathroom I visited had a ton of ants crawling up and down the wall and the toilet paper was dirty. I understand they are vault toilets but there should be some level of cleanliness. It was so bad that one of my daughters chose to find a spot in the woods to do her business. The paved path I tried to walk on was overgrown. I understand that trails in the woods may be overgrown but you would think a path along the shore would be better maintained.
