Campsite: Ainsworth State Park
Visited in the Spring. Great campground with shaded sites. Some campsites are not level, but the sites are on asphalt. Located right off the scenic highway of most of the waterfalls. Has a nice area for children to play at and an area for to hike. Very quiet. Clean restrooms. Will come again.
Campsite: Getaway Mountain Campground
We are RVrs that have traveled extensively the last 3 years and I have to say this is one of the prettiest campsites. There is lots going on and the facilities are kept clean. Nice shaded lots, nice pool area and grassy areas. Very nice play area for the kiddos. If you happen to come during the holidays, they have events and karaoke. The owners are very nice and if you get to know the seasonals they are very welcoming. We were fortunate to stay there for 2 months to tour the area, and really enjoyed ourselves.
