I highly recommend this campground. We stayed here before/after hiking to the Killington summit (10 min drive). We also visited the beautiful pond across the road.
The campsites are well-maintained, though they aren’t super private due to proximity to other sites and the path going around the campground. Our neighbors were quiet though!
The restrooms were the cleanest I’ve ever seen at a campground. They were spotless. There are also private/individual shower rooms with warm water that you pay for with quarters.
Dogs have to stay on a leash at this campsite. Ours didn’t mind!
There’s a beautiful 1 mile hiking trail through the woods. There’s also free drinking water (bring your own containers), bear-safe dumpsters, and you can buy firewood and ice at the check-in area. The staff are very friendly. Give this park a try if you’re in the area!
