This is a fascinating historical site and one I wasn’t aware of until I first visited. I have been interested in the history of the French and Indian War period and what life was like for colonists on the frontier. The guides here were very knowledgeable and I learned a great deal about the role of colonial militias during this period. This is definitely worth a visit.
