It's the beginning of summer just starting to get warm and we had a bunch of snow over memorial day so maybe it killed the mosquitos...I imagine when it's hot it's outta control because it's marshy so I've seen moose and a small bear. The pass just opened again. It's worth it but pick your time of year right and book spot 5 or six if you want shade for your vehicle. It's beautiful. There's only one first come first serve though...
