Beautiful state park on the edge of the BWCA.

Camper cabins have electric baseboard heating and were perfectly situated for privacy between sites - even without leaves on trees. Vault toilet near site was clean and very close to cabins.

The trail center has “regular” bathrooms, large indoor & outdoor areas for gathering with fire pit/fireplace. There are board games, sink and microwave in addition to many tables and chairs. This room must be stunning in the winter during a snow.

We look forward to coming back and exploring more trails and hopping on the water when it is warmer. What a gem!
