This place is a joke. Visitor or seasonal you are better off spending your well earned money elsewhere. They pull you in by being nice and seem accommodating but then turn around and slight you the next chance they get. My children loved this place for all of the family friendly activities. But if you plan to enjoy the new splash pad, make sure you plan to spend extra (seasonal or not). Wonderful little store with firewood, bags of ice, and souvenirs your children will love, for a small fortune. Booked a cabin for 3 nights with my children to spend time with other family members in the park. The cabin was not cleaned upon our arrival. They did comp us a night and stated it was overlooked; however, nothing was brought over to cover the essentials that were supposed to be included that were not replaced due to not being cleaned properly. Now that our seasonal family members chose to leave early and not renew their seasonal contract, my children are no longer welcome back. Sadly, they were looking forward to the Halloween weekend and we prepared with early costumes. Arrangements were made. Then we were informed that we were not welcome back the day before. I will be explaining this situation to my children as it happened, using the familiar names they have come to love, when I have to break it to them that we will not be going. Leaving on good terms means nothing when the children get hurt in the end. For a campground that claims to be family friendly, the truth shines through.
