Absolutely beautiful lake! Tons of camping potential and lots of hiking. The water is freezing all year around so the best months to visit would be July and August when it’s slightly warmer. There is little separated areas on the sides of the lake which I’d highly recommend because the water is more shallow and is warmer. The traffic is less and there is better beaches.
