Two of the three evenings were nice, quiet and relaxing. The third evening there was a band literally playing within throwing distance of our site. The campground DID NOT follow their own rules, such as "All radios and other sources of disturbance must be turned off. Please respect your neighbors’ peace and quiet! Offenders will be asked to leave. There will be no refunds." As we had a long day and just wanted to come back and have a quiet evening, but could not for the live rock band vibrating our trailer and making our dogs anxious due to the crowds of people and yelling and yes swearing, even the staff in purple shirts labeled 'STAFF' could be heard swearing and again one of the rules states "Excessive use of alcoholic beverages and obscene language will not be tolerated. All alcohol must be kept at your campsite or appropriately concealed." This was also not followed even by the staff. We are members of an international & State camping group and were considering this location for a rally or future stays. We will NOT be staying here again. It could have been nice, but I have never experienced a rock band playing from 7:00 until after, yes after 11:00 p.m. with crowds yelling, screaming, drinking, swearing, including the staff. No respect for us or our campsite at ALL. Also, my husband was not feeling well when we were out that afternoon at a festival, so he went back to lay down in the camper and my parents took me back to the campground about an hour later. They were only there for maybe 10 minutes and got yelled at by one of the same staff that was swearing, drinking and screaming during the live band, for parking near the pavilion stating "that parking is for the pavilion only". First of all my father has a bad leg and can't walk that far or fast, second, I am expecting and they didn't want to make me walk the distance from the entrance to our site on a hot day. This was at 5:00 p.m., the band didn't start playing until 7:00. After they left, I went over to apologize to the band, thinking they had to unload equipment as the car may have been in the way and they said "o no, we didn't mind, it's just the owner, well she is... well you I am sure know by now." I will leave it at that. It could have been a nice place, but consideration of their own rules, respect & common courtesy for others is largely lacking.
