UPDATE: Learn how to cancel a reservation! We had a place to stay comfortably before we came here and could have adjusted instead of finding a place in the middle of the night. The rig next to us needed two pickup trucks to get out. After our 3rd time re-leveling after just a couple hours, we realized we were sinking, we got the hell out of dodge. We almost took out our BlueOx and generator exhaust pipe in the process. It was a mess for us as well as the other family. What a $%#4 show.

Just checked in within the hour. The campground is quite beautiful and the woman who checked us in was quite nice. She did try to get us into a proper site, but ultimately our only option is the 30 amp no hookup mud pit we're stuck in (that admittedly was our only option to book 4 months ago, but we didn't know about the lack of gravel or pavement to park on. 30 amp no hookup is honestly usually fine with us).

Getting a proper site for our rig given the site conditions would have entailed moving not once, but twice in 6 days. Sure, no one can predict the rain, but rain happens, it's been a season of it and they should know their property.

We appreciate the last ditch effort, the beautiful campground and the friendly greeting. However, we're quite annoyed that they had 4 months notice on our reservation, knew our size and presumably our weight if they run a campground. Our reservation had a note in there for one of their abundant 50 amp sites, which is common to have to do in the TT system.

Our assumption is that they pander to retail vs those of us who've put 20k into the system on membership upgrades. We still paid. It isn't our fault corporate may not distribute funds accordingly.

Let's also add dogs off leash for days. 2 great Danes, and another little guy at a site that deterred us from another option of a better site. Another dog just ran on to our mediocre site. Don't get me wrong, our dogs are fantastic off leash and interact way better, but when you don't know your neighbor... We love dogs and look forward to socializing ours.

We've had a lot of great experiences in the TT system and hopefully our stay turns around, but a little more effort ahead of check-in would be nice.
