Climber's Bivouac is a moderately difficult hike if you're not an experienced hiker but very highly recommended for it's amazing forest trail and views you will witness at the end of the trail where permits are required. It only takes a few hours and is very enjoyable. We are experienced hikers but even our 8 and 11 yr olds did the hike with no problem, although they are experienced hikers are well with 100 miles under their belts. But, if you want a challenging and amazing hike you should definitely do this one. I highly recommend driving up here with a vehicle suited for some very rough gravel roads as the end of the road to the trailhead is basically a rough logging road with potholes and large loose rocks.
