A long drive, 22 miles, from the highway and the last couple miles are a bit sketchy but nothing any small car couldn't do. The view from the point is incredible with long sight lines from the valley below to mountains far in the distance. A picnic table is right on the edge of the drop off, quite exciting, and an outhouse is there also. A trail sign stands behind the outhouse pointing to many miles of hiking.
The day I went was sunny and warm with only a small breeze. No other parties were present so I was by myself. It was so stunning I wished someone could have shared the experience with me.
This is a great spot to visit. The drive has its own views of note.
