Start from Springfield Oregon on Bob Straub Pkwy to jasper rd then left onto hwy 58. Turn right into gold lake parking area just before willamette pass ski area.. the shelter is closed at this time due to Virus restrictions. Start with CJ trail immediately to left after passing over snow berm of parking lot if you want a steeper incline. However stay on Westview shelter or Abernathy for an easier adventure. Enjoy your travels.
