My sister and I took our children up here to play in the snow. I have bad back problems so we didn't get to hike far. However, the snow was deep and powder, so the boys got to have a lot of fun. And the view from this location is absolutely breath taking! Absolutely a place I recommend taking your children, especially if they aren't used to the snow.
