We wanted to love this campground as the reviews are really good and it's always booked up, but unfortunately we were a bit let down. We were in spot #31.
Pros:
Easy to get to
Clean sites, clean water
Tons of shade, cooler inside the canyon
Hosts are very friendly and sell ice/wood
5 mins to West Fork Trail
Cons:
Road noise is ridiculous
Sites are very close to each other
Bathroom smell
Too many kids (me being selfish)
No music allowed -- what?
We came with our 20' Airstream, but this campground is really setup for tent camping I noticed. It's also a campground that might be geared more towards entry-level or introducing kids to camping. It's not that I would steer people away from here, but I would steer RVing adults with no kids far away from here. I will say though, that the proximity to West Fork is huge plus-- that trail is stunningly beautiful.
