Camped with friends in spots 5,6 & 7 - all together so much room, over Labor Day holiday weekend. Tent camping with no fires allowed, and had some rain Saturday and Sunday all night, but it was still great. Sunny afternoons. Very little road noise down at these spots. You can hear the river running.

The camp hosts stay I believe May-September and BOY oh BOY do they do a great job keeping the campground, river area and bathroom very clean. Very friendly and courteous.

You haul out your trash, including cans/bottles and cardboard. You are not helping anyone by leaving your trash in the campfire or leaving recycling. Please keep our beautiful Oregon camping areas clean and dispose of all your own trash and recycling properly.

Spots 8 & 9 are very close to each other. 9 has a lovely view across the stream to a waterfall. Very small tent pad area though.

The Outpost is close by, little restaurant with lots of outdoor seating and propane fire tables. They sell firewood there too $10 a bundle, good size bundle. Hoodies for sale inside for $49. If you have breakfast or lunch there, they have WiFi you can hook up to. There is no Verizon reception at the campsites.

We drove out to the Niagara Falls hiking trail one afternoon. It is a 1 mile hike each way, going to the falls is all downhill, and coming up all uphill. Bit muddy trail, lots of steep drops you have to really watch your step. Tiny waterfall this time of year, but a good hike for something to do!
