Nice preview for visits later in the spring and summer. Got to see where the cabins are and talk a nice walk on the sand. Many folks were enjoying the gorgeous weather and picnicking.
Note: the North Trail to the Cape Lookout is currently closed. I didn't see any info about when it might be reopened. To reach the Cape Lookout Point, use the South Trail.
There were some crews doing road maintenance, likely in preparation for a busy summer.
We caught a glimpse of the yurts from the road. I have some friends that stay here year after year. Looks amazing.
