It may be a neat historical artifact, but it doesn't justify the high price tag to stay here. It's in desperate need of repairs and a deep clean. And I can't help but feel guilty that the keepers fire up a buffalo-sized generator all day just to enable the cabin to turn on 2 light bulbs (the genny is a relic from the guard station that used to power the entire camp.). Not exactly "green" considering a better solution could be built with a couple hundred bucks of solar panels and batteries.
