Beautiful campground surrounded by forest and adjacent to the lake. Many sites to drop in and settle. Some plots are double sites for larger family and friends groups. Other sites are more secluded and offer a perfect getaway. Plenty of activities to do in the area, whether it be hiking in the woods, canoeing or floating in the lake, and plenty of friendly wildlife to look at.
Roads getting there from Estacada start off well but do get rough the closer you are, so make sure if you're in a sedan like I was, that you prepare, stay alert while driving, and take it slow when it gets rough and rocky.
Overall some of the best camping I've enjoyed.
