Isolated campground on the bank of the Deschutes makes for a fantastic disconnect from the day-to-day grind. Spent a couple nights here the week after Labor Day and was one of two campers. Good rainbow trout fishing. It’s high desert so very few trees; gets warm during the day but spectacular views.
