We stayed here over 4th of July. Camp spot # 5 is one of the best. It’s right next to the river and neighbors not too close. The campground is just off the highway, but when you are close to the river it drowns out the sounds of the cars going by. But I think the spots near the highway would be terrible for lights and car noise. We reserved online 3 months in advance.
An awesome hike to a waterfall is a few hundred yards from the campground and you don’t have to worry about finding a parking spot. The hike itself is a few miles round trip.
