I was denied a spot because my camper was a homemade Vanlife rig. I wasn't looking to make a spectacle of myself, just sleep there and visit family during the day. I think what bothered me the most is the owner denied me without even speaking to me or examining my rig. I've traveled thousands of miles in my homemade camper and have never been denied a place to sleep until now
