I preface this with we went after school started (half price promo, normally $20/pp for a day pass, and only about 10-15 people were at there while we were 11-4pm).

The wibit (inflatables on the water) is a great fun for all ages, but not all bodies. It can be difficult to get back up/on the wibit if you are not fit. This mama needed help every time I fell off, which was frequent with the slime buildup on the inflatables (and wooden steps to help you get up). Still had a blast with my teens (age 15-18). One section of the wibit deflated, much to my kids enjoyment as they made it part of their game, but I'm sure if this were a normal busy weekend it would have been annoying and possibly dangerous. No information was given when we entered (paid the gate admission) nor was any given by the lifeguards, (except when we took the kayaks out past the yellow floats, we were told we were supposed to be out that far).

Life vests (must be wore while in the lake/on wibit), kayaks and stand up paddle boards are available by the wibit and included in the price of admission. I'd bring water shoes, a table, chairs, food, water, ice chest, grill, etc and make full day of it.

The splash pad/water slide area is more geared towards families/younger children. Lots of chairs (some needing updated) here (none by the lake, only a few picnic tables), and some shaded areas. (Outside) showers are needed if going from lake into water slide, located on backside of waterpark, closer to the lake.

Will be back.

I can see why people who stay here overnight would be upset day passes are sold to the public.
