On a trip to Washignton D.C, we drove through Ohio. My son wanted to go visit, so we did a short detour off the interstate. It's location is a little weird, but the fact it was built in 1930 as a lookout for the Country Club, its position up on a hill, it served its purpose. The doorway is filled with concrete. Due to the fact that people were constantly breaking open the metal gates that were placed over the opening. It does have a spooky vibe to it, and there is one account of a recorded death, the girl wasn't suppose to be inside the building, in 1967. Not sure why they decided to only paint the bottom of structure, but the rock is scorched from the lighting strikes. There is a nice easy pathway with newly built railings leading up to it. We didn't see any ghosts but it would have been cool to see the inside.
