I had a chance to stay in the cabin over the weekend. The cabin itself is gorgeous and we planned to have a small wedding there with the family members. However, little did we know that the management of the cabin would literally do everything possible to ruin our special day. Not only they keeped showing up to the cabin asking to move the cars, to turn the music off, they also kept telling everyone to leave immediately and ripped decorative signs. Only 10 family members stayed in the cabin overnight, there was no loud music ever and it was completely turned off by 10 pm. But the management was relentless and kept showing up. Unfortunately, even after paying a few thousands of dollars for the cabin, we got a ruined wedding back. Our small wedding was no different than any family get together. If you think you will have more than 2 cars in the parking lot and if you decide to listen to music or something along those lines, you should know that the management will be in your face. They will not leave you alone. You can probably sit quietly inside the cabin, maybe even by yourself to stay away from their presence and getting in your face and your business. We left the cabin absolutely spotless. We woke up at 6 am and cleaned it to make these people better. Who else woke up after their wedding day to clean at 6 am?! Well we did. At the end of the day, on a larger scale I think, how did they go to bed knowing that they did everything possible to ruin our wedding??? Never again. Avoid that place like a plague. Find a friendlier host than the host of the Vanderbilt Lodge.
