My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this cabin for Christmas. Our host was very helpful with answering questions before and during our trip. She looked for ways to enhance our experience while also ensuring we had plenty of space and privacy.

The location couldn’t have been better for traveling with dogs and enjoying nature, with the cabin situated at the top of a steep gravel driveway. There is a convenient gravel parking spot at the bottom of the drive for vehicles without 4 wheel drive.

Our first impression of the cabin was that it was much more spacious than we had anticipated. The layout is well thought out and it was very comfortable and did not feel crowded with 5 adults plus dogs. We were prepared for a much more rugged cabin stay than what we encountered.

Despite not having plumbing, there was a coffee maker and a water dispenser with cold and hot water that made washing dishes and making tea a breeze. I never imagined a stay without plumbing could be so modern feeling.

We loved the wood stove though the people sleeping in the loft reported it warmed the cabin a little too well for sleeping over night. The electric heat was more than enough to keep the cabin plenty warm even in winter.

The last thing I would say is that compared to other rentals in the area, and considering how comfortable and well furnished this cabin was, it really was a good price/value also. We would definitely stay here again in the future and I highly recommend it for anyone who appreciates solitude and nature.
