We have stayed in Yogi Bear in Bostic, NC and loved it. We decided to bring our 3 Grandchildren to Asheboro for the Halloween festivities since it was closer to our house. The road are really dusty and not paved. One of the children has asthma and had severe flare ups after riding the golf cart because of all the dust. He was limited to what he could do the rest of the weekend because of how dusty it was. The playground only had a seesaw, a few swings and Gaga ball pit. There was nothing there for children under 3. We were at site 129 and the fire pit and large rock was right outside of the door of our RV. I do not recommend this site!! All of the other sites had them at the end of the drive. This is not safe when you have children! Over all the Halloween festivities were fun! We forgot our bracelets for the carnival and the lady was very rude telling us we couldn't get in without them, even though we had done all of the other activities without them. We had to go back to our campsite and get them. We loved the trails but I wish there were signs on which way to go. We got creeped out and turned around. We have decided to make the drive to Bostic and Tabor Yogi Bear campgrounds in the future.
