It was our first visit to the yogi-bear camp ground and we were excited. It was not our first time camping. When we booked in December for our trip in February there were no warnings about being out of season, we simply assumed that the water features were closed.

Much to our dismay other features like the indoor and outdoor theatre, half the play area and laser tag weren’t available. These things should be noted as part of their seasonal offerings when booking.

Our booking included tickets to the Asheboro zoo which was amazing! Unfortunately after 15 minutes of convincing me that there were no such tickets and us driving away I found my reservation proving it.

The boo boo cabin was supposed to fit a group of 4 but our family: mom, dad, 10yr old and 5 yr old were very smushed. Our wifi in the cabin didn’t work for more than 15 minutes at a time.

All in all I’d never recommend it for others including our military family worldwide.
