We visited for the first time recently. The weather was so hot, so our visit wasn’t as long as it could have been. There are so many attractions that a family could easily spend the entire day here. My children loved the carousel and the wildlife adventure. They would have liked the train more without the tunnels because it was so hot inside of them, but they still enjoyed it.
There were many people there the day that we went, including several church groups, and the park didn’t feel crowded.
Most attractions range from $.50-$2 per person. They do accept credit cards in the building attached to the train attraction. You can purchase all of your attraction tickets there. I noticed that the ticket booth at the wildlife attraction had a sign that said cash only, but we used a card to buy ours in the other building.
I recommend packing a lunch and bringing plenty of water. They host a fall festival that sounds like a lot of fun. We plan to come back for it.
