James is the best Horse Camp owner I have come accross in my + 40 years of ridin and camping. He called us before leaving about detours in the small town of Bryson City and provides a driving video on how to get to his horse camp on the web site. If you have a big rig take his advise and use that route. Riding is challenging and if you havent ridden in the mountains ask him for the scaled back version of trails to take
The nolan divide trail is not for the faint of heart and if you or your horse is not experieced i advise you to not take that trail. There are plenty of other trails that are less challenging wit just as good of sites to visit. Campground is very nice and everthing about the stalls are well laid out for water and your hay.
