Been hiking at this park since 2011 and I still love it. Trails are well maintained, well-marked, and it has some primitive camping sites that I've wanted to check out. The paddle access down the homestead trail is well marked and a great area to relax on the rocks, just beware of any kayakers/canoers that need to come up to the trail. It is a steep climb down to the water from the trail, so wear appropriate shoes and be careful with pets/young children. Beautiful, shady spots on the river and the creek depending on which part of which trail you're on. Cool info signs marking historic spots on the trails. A must for local and visiting hikers!
