Great location and very peaceful! The cabin was newly renovated so it is fresh and clean. The bed was very comfortable with fresh, soft sheets, firm yet soft mattress. I normally sleep with a three inch foam topper and and although it wasn't the same, it was excellent. My husband also loved it, and he prefers a very hard mattress.
In their general store, we bought wood, matches, and a creosote starter for the fire pit for $7 so we could roast marshmallows for a full experience. It was fun to do, and I highly recommend it.
The natural spring was fun, too. There's a small hand pump that can be used to bring up the water. Thankfully, I had a gallon jug because of my cpap, so we took some home. 😉🤓 If you don't have one, you can buy one at the general store which has several things you may have forgotten too.
