We’re on a road trip across the U.S. and have been staying in hotels, tent camping, renting cabins along the way. This place received great reviews for the rv park and I’ll agree the actual rv area was well kept, clean, nice landscaping. We however decided to rent a pop up camp trailer for the night rather than set up our tent. This is where the place went downhill. The pop up camper is located in the tent area which is down a small hill. It also seems to be where either the water table is higher or water from the main rv park gathers because it was very swampy. The camper was older. Floors and counters clean. Beds stained with who knows what. We were also issued a key to lock the door but it was useless because the door is so worn out it doesn’t secure. We had to tie it shut to keep it closed when we were in it. When we left to run into town we took our belongings with us because they weren’t safe. We were also told the heater worked and it did not. The camper though is not our biggest complaint. We had people camping in a tent beside us that were I think living there permanently. They had trash, food and clothes scattered everywhere. When the male occupant would leave the tent we were lucky if he’d finished dressing and saw way more of him than needed. At 1000 when quiet time should have started, they went somewhere and came back and started smoking god knows what. For hours we listed to the male occupant have coughing fits and spit everywhere. At around 0200 in the morning they argued about which phone they should watch Netflix on and then we had to listen to their Netflix show. We got maybe an hours sleep before the coughing and spitting fits started all over again at 0700-0730 in the morning. Wish our reservation was refundable but it wasn’t so we stuck it out. Miserable experience overall.
