Lone Pine Campground is well maintained and clean. However, there is very limited shade and trees. The sites are really packed in together. There is a major interstate which borders the campground. Thank goodness we were further in the back so it wasn't quite as noisy. You could still hear the highway but it didn't keep us awake. Our site was small. To park and pull out the trailer you had to block the entire roadway. There was a small opening across the street so people could drive off the road to get around. We had to park our car sideways as we're were unable to pull in straight. We were inches off the roadway. The fireplace was close to the trailer next to us. With our outdoor chairs and picnic table you had to be very careful not to burn the awning and outdoor furniture. Most of the sites around us were a bit bigger where they could pull their vehicles in. If you are going to reserve a site for a large trailer, I suggest you stay away from site 190.
