Family friendly especially during the warm months, with a wide, shallow beach and playground. A real gem, quiet and beautiful even in the off-tourist times. Vermont seniors enter for free with a Green Mt Pass ( obtained from your town clerk office). Paddling is swell on the big lake. Be wary of power boats though.
