Apple Island is a great campground in a very nice area of Vermont. On Lake Champlain and close to Stowe, Burlington, and other nice cities. The views from the campground are what drew us to stay here. The price of the nightly stay is the only reason I did not give 5 star. To me, the price is high for just views and a clean campground. For this price, I would expect concrete slabs at each site and there were only stone blocks which were not real ideal. Besides that, the campground is very well kept and very nice overall. Just not $130-$140 a night nice without having a site that is Prestine.
