Not a good experience. All of the reviews showed this was a clean well-keep campground, but the shower house and restrooms wouldn't even come close to passing a health department inspection. The shower house and restrooms were filthy! In the women's side one toilet was locked, apparently out of service, another was plugged up with what the last person left behind and trash that was stuff into it, and the 3rd one I couldn't bring myself to use. The showers were moldy and skummy, there was a bar of soap and a shampoo bottle that looked like it had been there since the previous summer. The soap was turning black along with the shampoo bottle. I couldn't imagine placing myself anywhere near those walls and floor to take a shower. Fortunately, we had a small wet bath in our little camper, but my husband prefers a shower house because he is tall. These discussing facilities were an inconvenience and did not reflect the $60 a night we paid to stay at Arrowhead. When my husband called to tell Wendy why we weren't coming for our 2nd night on our return trip, all she said was have a good evening and hung up on him. No apology, not a reason or explanation, nothing. If you require a clean, well-keep shower house and restrooms I would recommend going elsewhere.
