I’m writing this at 11:00 at night, well past the 10:00 quiet time cutoff. The music at the pavilion is so loud and making it impossible to get to sleep! This campground is definitely catered to the seasonal campers. They stay up all night drinking and the more they drink the louder they get! The seasonals don’t pay attention to the rules. Their dogs are never on a leash and run out into the road making it impossible for us to walk our two small dogs. We had a golf cart run our 11 year old daughter off the road down a hill and she flew over her handlebars. The pool is in need of repair and was very dirty. I question the proper chlorine ph as you can’t smell chlorine at all. I was told it was only heated on the weekends so it was very cold during the week. The trex around the edges is so loose that my 5 year old son got his toe caught under the edge. The playground is very dangerous. Our kids came back to our campsite carrying at board with rusted screws sticking out of it that fell of the elevated area. The tube slide has two rusted metal supports- one is not even attached anymore. When we arrived at our site we were unable to hook up at our 50 amp big rig site as the connections are all the way in the back. Needed 50 feet of cord, water hose and sewer hose. Had to scramble and buy the extra needed just so we could get hooked up. The entrance to he campground is very hard to see. You have to make sure you see the flags or you will go right by. Would be nice to be lit up at night. If you are a family with kids or just wanting a nice place to get away- this is definitely not for you. Even some of the seasonal campers have offensive signs on their sites. This is just one big party campground- If this is what you like you will love it. There are definitely some other nice options for a family campground in the Cooperstown area. We checked them out and will go there. Well as I close it’s 11:30 and I think the music has stopped!
