50 Amp Campers Beware!
We booked a pull through site with 50 amp electric service and were told that we would have 50 amp service with the site we had set up at. However, our surge protector kept alarming and wouldn't permit 50 amp service. We tested several of the sites, but it seems there is a wiring short/electric issue going on throughout the campground. We only had 20 amp the entire time. For 75$ a night I would expect the electric to be properly maintained and functioning.
Owner wouldn't answer the phone when we first arrived for check in, and wasn't even at the campground. No signs noting that he would be right back, no additional phone numbers left to reach him, no info. Sign said open and was lit up, but he wasn't there.
Overall, it's a campground. It's got slabs for parking your camper/unit. And it's the only one in the area open year round. But for 75$ a night I would have expected better.
