We had 5 ladies for a 2-night girl's trip, and overall we had a good time but it wasn't perfect.
-The tent interior was cute, the beds were comfortable. The roaming bluegrass band was a highlight. Such nice people and great performance.
- It was pretty chilly at night, I wish they would have thicker comforters. (I flew for this, so bringing a blanket would have been tough.)
- The website photos make you think you won't be right next to another tent. Wrong! They pack those tents in there!
- Many tents are along the road. Seems some locals like to drive by and make excessive noise to prove how cool they are. Horns blaring as they drove by, or revving their engines. 🙄
- For a "glamping" experience, I feel like the bathrooms should have been much nicer/cleaner. They were just typical campground bathrooms, very basic. No screen door so bugs were everywhere. For the price we paid it could have been nicer.
-We wanted to do the paint and sip, but in an outside pavilion the paint would have been lumpy from the millions of bugs.
The staff tells you to only leave reviews if they are positive. I think that makes it difficult for people to find honest reviews.
Tips for anyone going: Bring bug spray. A lot. And citronella candles.
We couldn't even spend time outside until we lit the candles.
Make sure you get ice for your coolers before arriving. The little store is very expensive and $4.28 for a tiny 5 pound bag of ice was crazy.
If your tent isn't near the bathroom, it can be quite a long walk. Many people drive cars to the bathroom which of course was noisy at night.
