The impression from the website & the cost per night, we expected a nice RV Resort with a water park, along the lines of a Jellystone Resort. But as soon as we pulled up to the gate we could see we were wrong! It is loaded with permanent seasonal campers. Which wouldn’t have been too bad if most of them weren’t all junked up. When we went to pull onto our site the neighbors golf cart was parked on our site and when the guy helping us park asked her to move it she started cussing and carrying on! Luckily we couldn’t fit on that site and they moved us. The site they moved us too was beside another permanent with a fenced in Dog Kennel and 2 barking dogs! The picnic table on the site was in rough shape and was all grass. Luckily it was dry! We were told there was an area for transients in a grass field, but we never found it to look at it. We were stopping over to visit friends and go to Saratoga Springs Race Track, so we weren’t at the campground much. This just wasn’t the kind of place we like to go for a weekend or vacation. It’s 90% seasonal/permanents and you definitely feel like an outsider. I will say the water park looked fun and the kids all seemed to be having fun! Lots of them out running around, even still out running around and at the water park at 9:30 pm when we got back from the races. This could be a really nice place, wouldn’t have minded if they would have a nicer separate area just for transient camping. Just don’t go if are expecting an RV Resort filled with weekenders or vacationers! This is where people live for the summer.
