Very nice lake, quiet and the campground is excellent. Pleasant and friendly staff. The main gripe I had wasn't about the campground itself, the town surrounding is falling apart. A common theme in the northern country of NY unfortunately. We are the type of camper that likes to explore while we camp, check out shops and restaraunts, etc. if you are like us, skip Tupper lake which is also pretty run down and head over to Saranac lake which is a 45 minute drive or so. The campground workers helped us get our camper slide back in when our generator wouldn't start, they brought theirs over for us to use.
